baby b bird

(blip catchup since last Friday through to today now done)

This morning I went to work in my pyjama top by mistake. Thankfully I didn't look too much of a spanner because it's the top half of a two-part 'lounge suit' (which I think is 'Next' terminology for a tattier-than-usual t-shirt and shorts combo). Still, I felt kynda weird, especially without my comfy bear-slippers on.

Last night a baby blackbird flew from it's nest in our jasmine bush, so all evening we watched it plippety plopping all around the potted herbs. This morning said herbs were covered in copious amounts of babybirdpoo.

'Mummy bird' (lady sp33d's term, not mine HONEST) was kept busy all evening fattening it up on decent grub, doing the decent thing that decent mums do I guess.
