Lake Roan

We decide to avoid major highways as we drove from Abingdon to Charlotte to see our good friends. The country road took us into Tennessee and the Cherokee National Forest. Lake Roan was was a wonderful surprise as we came down from the mountain, a truly beautiful spot.
