Otter Family Goodbye

These little critters availed themselves to us on our morning walk along the Deschutes today at Sunriver. I've seen otters on occasion here, but still they are a fairly rare sighting. So fun watching otters swimming together.

We have sold our home in Sunriver after having it for nine years. It is a bittersweet time, mostly bitter. The taxes, utilities, and owners' association fees have become financially prohibitive, so it will be good to be out from under that. But we have SO many memories of this place, it's really hard to let it go.

Probably the otters were just poking their heads up checking us out; I like to think they were bidding us goodbye.
