Lake Alexandrina
The crested grebes at Lake Alexandrina (near Tekapo) had us fascinated this morning - it's their courting time of the year, and their rituals are intriguing and entertaining. This view across the lake shows a grebe swimming across to her mate, calling as she went.
The Southern Regional PSNZ convention starts this afternoon and we've been bumping into photographers and blippers in some very out of the way places.
