View from the top....

Beautiful day today and 22 degrees!

I have taken Ella and her two cousins up the gondola to the top of the Port Hills since it is school holidays and they wanted to go up there for the ride.

It is only up the road from where we live, and the view at the top is great..especially on a day like today.

From there you look back over Christchurch city one way, and the other way is this view of Lyttleton harbour.
To get here by car from our place you just drive thru a road tunnel , which I have blipped before (takes 5 mins).

We spend alot of time around this harbour in the summer, Dave kayaks here, and we swim in some of the smaller bays.
