Alby aka Hervey.

I've been calling this little Albatross Alby, but then I found out the animal care staff have called him Hervey, after Hervey Bay where he was found. So I suppose I will have to call him Hervey or he might get confused.

He's obviously feels a lot better as he got up, flapped his wings and then proceeded to put his head down and stomp around the enclosure.

He's got the funniest walk, he reminds me of John Cleese and his Ministry of Funny Walks.

I actually managed to stroke his head today, he has the softest feathers.

I did actually post this on the right day, but for some reason, it wasn't there when I looked this morning, so now it's a back blip.
