Plaza de Cibeles

First week of being a language assistant done! I was in 4 classes today presenting a slideshow about myself. As I progressed in the day, I felt more confident in what I was talking about (even though it was about me). I learned to speak slow, really slow and write difficult vocabulary words on the white board. One of the English teachers asked me to review some slides to check for comprehension and I was impressed that the students understood and were able to respond to my questions. It was a really good day at school today. I really like working at IES Carpe Diem in Colmenar de Oreja. Everyone is just so nice. I even got a ride back to Madrid from one of the teachers.
