Waiting for the universe to end

Following up on Anemone's suggestion on my blip for yesterday - that there might be an alternative Edinburgh out there that had a Bobby with a black nose - I took myself along to the National Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street.

This is the Universe Odyssey display and this show runs for six minutes. I was hoping to get answers here but unfortunately it didn't cover the Multiverse theory and so my research was futile.

However I did learn that we have around 1.7 billion years left on this planet before we are burnt to a crisp by the expanding sun. I don't know why, but that bothered me - like I'm going to be around for that?
