old skool flaked stars

My company has a project on to create some decor for a store. They had seen the metal flake I use to paint some record boxes recently. So we have used this lovely old 50's technique "Roth" custard paie metal flake... on stars..

Not what it was originally intended for. These are not the cool hotrods of the 50's ..but they still look pretty trick to me...
