Bird encounters of the unexpected kind

So I've struggled to blip this week, too knackered after the weekend really to look about. This morning on the way to work I was just thinking "I don't know when I'll get a blip today - the weather is gonna be awful and my lunchtime and afterschool time are filled with school clubs" when I stumbled across this beautiful creature under the canal bridge. It stood perfectly still and posed very nicely for me. Just made it to the school gates in time!
