Heron in a storm!

We awoke this morning to torrential rain and the news that there was localised flooding in the area. Not really ideal for our journey home! We then found out that there had been landslides blocking the only road out of Tighnabruaich and further along our route at a notorious probem area at the pass through the Arrochar Alps. The road out of Tighnabruaich was cleared by 11:00 am but we had to divert the Arrochar Alps either by ferry to Dunoon or the long way round by road. We decided to go the road way which added about 40 miles onto our journey but we all got home safely!
This really is an emergency blip taken hurriedly through the rain before we left - don't look too closely!
