Into dereliction….
In 1820-22 the 5th Earl of Dunmore commissioned the architect William Wilkins to build Dunmore Park. It was a truly magnificent mansion.
It now lies in ruins and a poor reflection on how we care for some of our national treasures.
Maybe we have higher priorities, but I can't help feeling some disappointment that we let our heritage deteriorate in this way.
