Two maize fields in one

This is the result of harvesting two fields of maize to make into winter feed for the cattle. T decided not to put it with the grass silage in the clamp as too much water collects around the base and the silage begins to rot. After the maize has been rolled as much as possible to compress it, the boys will cover it with great tarpaulin sheets weighed down with old tyres. It can be fed straight away but we shall wait until the cattle are in.
