Clematis

Odd day in Edinburgh; really warm, (20 degrees c), still and no sign of the heavy rain the forecast had warned us about. Only really had time to go in the garden for a blip mid-afternoon and was taken by this clematis bloom. I guess there's nothing too unusual about it flowering in October, but the damson seems to think it's spring again and has many flowers. Doesn't seem quite natural, but I always reckon a mild October leads to a good, snowy and sunny winter and vice versa.
