Longwood Gardens

While my sweetheart sequestered himself in the office this morning, I took the kids to Longwood Gardens for a stroll. Every time is a wonderful experience and we have been here countless times. All though it was more humid than I preferred, if we kept to the shady paths it was more than bearable. The kids had fun leading the way and pointed out insects or unique flowers they adored. They talked about how we need to keep the earth clean and well populated with trees so that we all are healthy. Of course I took loads of pictures and Alyssa had to keep reminding me to keep up with her. When we arrived at the conservatory, she made me promise to not take one picture until we left the building. I tried hard, but did break down a few times. She forgave me.

We spent nearly three hours there and then went home and insisted Papa take a break and go swimming with us. It was just what we needed to quench our parched bodies and relax next to the pool. Had a simple meal off the BBQ and off to bed. Good night Blippers!
