Won't be long now

I walked along the foreshore path at the foot of Wimbie Reserve today to see whether this week's high winds had wrought further casualties among the cliffside trees: quite a few, including a couple of hefty eucalypts that had toppled across the path. The flaky rock at this point is unstable and prone to erosion, and the main character in this picture seems likely to come down with the next big storm.
