Maori art in Hastings, New Zealand

Today we visited Napier and Hastings. Two town destroyed by an earthquake in 1931. Both were rebuilt in the Art Deco style because houses in that style were cheaper and stronger, using reinforced concrete and being no more than one storey high. I fell in love with Napier and felt I could quite happily live there!
