the giraffe family

A family outing to Chester Zoo. The weather forecast seemed slightly better further north and even if it did rain we could run from one animal house to another :)

Not all the animals were easy to spot or photograph. The young elephants were fun to watch and a junior orang-utan attracted lots of oohs and aahs.
The female tiger with cubs was just visible but the young cheetahs were in the open practising their stalking skills.

More a day for looking and learning than spending ages taking photos. Very enjoyable.
