Old school

Not only is this an old leather Brooks bike seat, but it has the springs as well.

I never had a leather Brooks seat. The saying was you wore your bum out before you wore the leather in ;-)

I'm sure my Dad and uncles (and maybe Mum and my aunt) remember leather bike seats, wide at the back with springs beneath.

I have a bit to do tonight as I'm away for the weekend fishing with my lures. Whatever I need to take must be on board when I come to work in the morning because I head away at lunchtime tomorrow.
