Modern plasticky retail Play-Doh (rather than proper household-ingredient stuff) might be significantly less likely to leach out pigment onto the hands than Plasticine but 1: it can't hold its shape for shit and 2: it's far too garishly-coloured and 3: it has a tendency to break down into very very small pieces ideal for being trodden into carpets and tabled into elbows of cardigans.
