On top of the world

I have been to 124th floor of the worlds tallest building. I am scared of heights so this is quite a feat. Dubai is an amazing place. Lots more to tell but it is late I might need to fill in later.

Later: we nearly missed our time slot for visiting the Burj Khalifa. We totally underestimated how long it would take us to get from the metro to the building, despite numerous travellators to speed us on our way. We had to race through the fantastic Dubai Mall to get there just in the nick of time. The building is simply incredible, a feat of modern engineering.

We sat outside afterwards for a lovely Italian meal and watched the water fountain display. A lovely evening.
