Gossamer

Really, I wish I'd had an actual camera for this, but there are many reasons why iPhone is currently more practical. None of them are pub-related. Even though I am just a little weird about spiders, I am fascinated by their webs. I can't understand how a creature that can't step back from its labour to assess its beauty can create something so marvellous. And then again, perhaps that lack of distance is the key...
