These three kiwis arrived today, a gift from Jan and James from their New Zealand honeymoon. Amelie declared her kiwi as the best present ever, and what she had always wanted meanwhile Isaac chewed his happily. I think you can tell which one is his... Today has not been a bad day but it has been one of those days. Injuries, accidents, things not going to plan, paint spillages, scanning sizing problems... I stubbed my toe on the high chair. I spent the rest of the afternoon complaining about it and suspecting it might be broken. My charming husband tells me to man up. Just when I start to think maybe it's just a sprain he admits it does look quite bad! I'm in bed resettling Isaac for the 2nd time tonight. He went down at 7.45ish then woke an hour later and now it's 10.30 and he has stirred again. I'll pop him back in his cot and he'll probably be in beside me by midnight. I really don't mind him there for most of the night but it would be nice if he could spend the first part of the night in his cot. I don't need to go out and leave him but if I did have to it would be nice not to worry about it. My reservations are probably unfounded and this frequent stirring I suspect is teeth. I'll try and stick to the routine anyway!
