Fresh from the oven

I don't do a lot of baking as we don't eat much but this past week I've been using the plums. This is a plum and almond cake which will get cut up and frozen so we can continue to enjoy the plums in the weeks to come.
A pretty miserable and fairly busy day and I couldn't even see the hills north of Forfar. I did think of stopping in the layby and taking a pic of the misty view but travellers had set up camp in it ( the layby, not the view!)
