Pink cornflower

Overcast grey start to the day, out for my walk before the sun stirred today and as I drove to the office I became aware of wet pavements and roads. A middle of the week sort of day today made progress on some things but managed to collect far more stuff to deal with than I passed on to others. My three good things.... 1. A meeting was cancelled which meant I got the whole afternoon back 2. I read a really helpful piece of advice in a book about leadership.... Try and say something affirming within the first 30 seconds of your conversation 3 I got home in time to take a walk round the garden before the sun went down and drink in the peace of the place.
