The 69 Steps.....

.....nothing to do with Buchan's Hannay adventure of a similar name. It is in fact the the number of steps from Broughton Street to chummeryken's flat door. We met to continue the task of clearing the flat today; there is some wonderful memorabilia in this Aladdin's cave (but no end of guff too!!) .
In my humphing of heavy objects, I climbed the equivalent of 2000 feet today, so I've got my feet up with a glass of medium dry cider and feeling pleasantly knackered!!
