Down Memory Lane
Well I visited the new Glasgow Transport Museum at the Riverside Museum near Partick it was a bit of a dreich day but it was a nice visit all the same I was going to blip either a tram or bus but when I looked at some of these shots I took of a scene from way back I decided to put this as my blip for the day and tomorrow I'm back in Glasgow again for a short time then off to the blipmeet at Th Caley Sample Room Pub near Gorgie my old stomping ground as I grew up there anyway the museum visit was very pleasant indeed with only a foive minute walk to Partick train station as I got there via Glasgow Queen Street Low Level and returned from Partick to Glasgow Central Low level they certainly have a far better transport system in Glasgow the one thing I am envious of our near city rivals as a railwayman I can see the potential for Edinburgh and if they hadn't squandered £776 million pounds on an 8 mile tram line we could have had the Edinburgh Surburban Line reopened at a mere £40 million at the last estimate anyway enough rambling and just as well it was only a short walk as I had a huge blister on the side of my heel from my golf shoe the other day ooya yes it nipped like buggery anyway new compeed blister plasters seem to be working and the advice I was given on this matter helped immensly now then movie for the day is "Memory Lane 1995"
