Exploring country roads

A day of visits for me today.

Firstly I popped over to my sisters and then in the afternoon I caught up with a good friend/colleague who is on maternity leave. It is her second child and he is three weeks old today and absolutely adorable. We had a good blether and before I knew it, it was time to head back to Edinburgh to pick up my hubbie from work.

I had half an hour to spare before he finished so explored a few country roads before getting back into town. Isn't it funny how you drive past so many roads all the time yet never go along them? Well today I did!
