Working Group

A group discussion on complex system modeling.

About half the group was very familiar with modeling and wanted to further explore social-ecological coupling or more specifically, how we integrate agent-based models with system-dynamics modeling. I was part of the OTHER half of the group who had very little exposure to complex modeling, but thankfully, the entire working group came to consensus on how to proceed which was very beneficial to both halves.

Complex modeling is actually not too complex (well, the theoretical framework - I'm not much of a coder). I found that the concepts and potential benefits were very accessible, at least as taught by Patrick and Trevor. So, thanks!
