Things I Walk Past No 2!

A busy day full of jobs and preparations for next week's holiday. That's what comes from leaving plans to the last minute! So a gentle blip today....

On my way into town today, I walked past the wall that used to form part of the garden of a very big grand house. The house disappeared many years ago, but the wall still remains and is now covered in a dense blanket of ivy and brambles. I thought the blackberries looked good against the dark green foliage, and the ivy berries added another dimension.

There are still plenty of blackberries out there for those of you who haven't yet made your blackberry vodka for Christmas. And for those of you who enquired earlier, the blackberry jam was a huge success! Second time lucky!!
