Watching the waves.

The day started out incredibly dull and gloomy. The plan was to take a photograph showing a particular road going into the distance, with trees on either side adding to the gloom. Road works distracted me from travelling the route I wanted, so I ended up at the beach instead. The tide was beginning to go out, so I began photographing the waves lapping on the shore and listened to the sounds of water and the birds calling.
