Magpies can be annoying. They make a lot of noise, especially first thing in the morning. Years ago I saw two or three of them pestering our old Siberian Husky by pulling out her copiously shedding fur to use in their nests. I consider them a big bunch of bullies!
But, oh how lovely they are in flight! When they are quiet, and just going with the flow, they are transformed. I'm sure there is a spiritual lesson here :-)
