The Launch

Each year we buy a weekly pass for the Keswick Launch, and then start and finish all walks from a different landing stage.

Today we got off at Hawes End, walked along the Newlands Valley, and had a drink at Littletown Farm.

Afterwards the usual routine is whistle wetting at The Dog and Gun, a meal out, followed by the Bank Tavern. This is the fifth year and mine host at a restaurant we frequent often greeted us with, ' Well if it's not the Brothers Grimm.'
