Careful Aim

I wasn't sure what my first day home was going to hold for us, but it quickly took shape with a simple text message. Sugar Bear and I were happy to drive into town to join some friends at the shooting range for a little bit of archery fun. It was great to see 4 eight year old girls getting awesome with a bow and arrow. The parents joined in a bit, too.

Then it was out to lunch as a group, and a bit of a wander through the mall. The girls enjoyed looking at all the animals up for adoption.

Sugar and I broke off from the group and did a bit of grocery shopping before heading home to see The Hubby. We had a nice quiet evening at home. Just what I needed.
