Estimations
On a little map, I studied the world,
With all of its foliage around it curled.
Its plains, and lakes, rivers and seas,
The sun, the torrents, and winds that tease.
Jungles of green, and canyons so grand,
With blotches of brown, and deserts of sand.
Sunsets of gold, painted brown and antique,
And the tints of dawn on a far mountain peak.
In thought...as I pondered with a little sigh,
For it went to show, just how small was I.
My name was whispered in tones so low,
So softly entreating, that I should Know.
And because I know, I will not fret,
But a consolation I will ever get.
That on this earth where all men trod,
Each soul is great...in the sight of God.
