Rondwandeling through the Spelderholt

Sunday morning stroll around the woods. Although this is some distance from the Dutch coast, the landscape here is woodland, heathland and sand. Lots of sand. The main paths through the woods are of fine sand which makes walking harder work.

We did the short 2.6km blue route rondwanderling before mid-morning coffee.

There was a cool breeze this morning and the sun was only warm in places sheltered from the chilly easterly.
