Bobby gets a makeover

I heard on the radio this morning that Ediburgh council had agreed to carry out some work on Greyfriars Bobby, seeing as his nose had been polished to a shine as a result of tourists rubbing it for luck. As such, I decided to have a wee wander up there at lunch time to take a photo of the aforementioned nose before it was repainted. As I was approaching it, I noticed there were a fair few folk gathered around it wielding pro-type DSLRs. As it turned out, they had painted the statue today, and there were an assortment of press photographers directing this poor guy as to how to stand for the official 'unveiling' photo.
