Book Club

These are the books coming out with a good variety replacing them.

We have gotten into a "theme night" for each host. Last month we had Dutch and tonight a good old Scottish menu including a tasting plate of a host of puddings, including black, white and fruit puddings along with tattie scones and haggis.

For afters we had the expected shortbread accompanied by home made Macaroon Bars. Although there was some doubt about the actual ingredients of the bars they disappeared without a crumb left behind!
