A bridge too far..

… well not this one but another.

Only took one photo Sunday and this is it. Had planned to take more.

Went for a cycle in preparation for my trip to Cambodia (its a cycling holiday) and was enjoying it until shortly after i took this photo when, I realised there was something wrong with my bike. I'm not going to recount exactly what happened next, far too embarrassing to do so, but suffice to say I had a minor accident whilst my attention was diverted towards the problem with my bike and came off with a thud.

Apart from hurt pride and a very sore shoulder, oh and a few cuts that streamed torrents of blood that nearly turned the Basingstoke canal crimson, i was ok!

Sadly the problem with the bike meant I had to cut my journey short by about 5 miles and had to leave it for later collection.

So I never did get the chance to take more photos. Was in utter agony by the time I got home late that night! Luckily having the courage of the lion that is Leo I was able to bear the intense pain and discomfort thrust upon me so cruelly by fate.
