Cretan coastline

As we headed west from Heraklion towards Chania where we are staying for the next fortnight we passed through some rain showers and throughout the day faced high winds. At one point the coastal road opened up to this sight as the sun shone through. Looked very inviting with temperatures around 29oC. But we had to press on and get settled in. Perhaps another day.
