A shepherds warning

At 6.30 this morning one of the cats disturbed me, luckily when checking to see if he was ok my eye caught this glorious sunrise. The first glimpse included the tiny curve of the moon but by the time I was ready with the camera the cloud was passing over. However during the next half hour the scene changed constantly, with orange red and purple shades coming and going. A good start to the day.
