Spraying

The farmer was here early this morning to spray the oilseed rape which was sown a few weeks ago. He spotted me with the camera, waved, and very helpfully lined the tractor up to come directly towards me before going back to the field edge to start doing the rest of the field. I took the shot and then retreated indoors in case of spray drift, however there was very little wind and no drift.

The spray machinery stretches from one edge to the other of this shot, and the field was finished after about 10 minutes.

The rest of the day has been very dull with a chilly wind.
