Desolate

Today's blip captures the desolation of the part of Glasgow where my office is based.

It's an area that has been hit badly by poverty since the 1980s. And as the cost of living in general rises with benefits and hope for employment both diminishing, the chances of it getting better look slim.

There are two food banks operating here and in the 21st century for a country that's rich in resource I find that fact truly appalling.
