Camping Day 3!

Early morning again this morning! Fleur and Craig cooked bacon and eggs for breaky which was yummy! Craig packed up their tent and stuff because they were only staying two nights, not three then we all drove up to the Borumba Dam for a swim. Craig was in the water pushing the kids around in the blow up boat and his foot got nibbled by something in the water! Not sure if it was a fish or an eel but it had about 4 goes at his foot! The others had a quick swim then Fleur, Craig and the kids drove home and the rest of us went back to camp and had lunch.

Clouds started rolling in after lunch, it rained a little then brightened up then all of us sudden more clouds came over and it started hailing! The hail stones were massive, the size of gold balls! Some of the kids were scared so we put them all in the annexe watching a movie! We were a bit worried about the car and if the hail would cause damage but it seems to be ok! The skylight in the caravan got two holes in it though and the roof is dinted!

It poured with rain for a bit then came out sunny later! Everything was pretty wet though! We got the fire going again and cooked some roast veggies for tea and tried to dry out a few things! We were in bed by 8.15, exhausted!!
