HERB

The last day of DDW September Challenge. It's been fun and this word gave me an opportunity to go to one of my favorite local places - Pickity Place Herb Farm. Rumor has it that the woman who illustrated the children's book Little Red Riding Hood in the 1948 version lived here. Anyway it is mostly a restaurant and gift shop/greenhouse today. They serve a 5 course herb centered lunch 362 days a year. The food is decorated with edible flowers and detailed descriptions of the herbs used are given as they are served. The grounds and gardens are nice to walk and sit in and just generally enjoy. This photo is of the Drying shed.
