Sunshine Coast :)

Today was the last day of our little getaway. We were initially disappointed because the weather started off pretty overcast again, but it soon cleared and as you can see it turned into a perfect day!

After having brekky by the river, we then set off to the airport via a few other coastal towns. Our flight wasn't until 8pm so we had the day to explore. First stop was Maroochydore beach, where we lay on the beach for about an hour and enjoyed the beautiful sun. We then went to Mooloolaba and had lunch at the surf club with a beautiful view of the beach. Mooloolaba was a great little town with it's main street right on the beach, full of lots of nice cafes and shops. We had an ice cream from a delicious gelatissimo-yum! We then had a walk around the rocks, and as you can see it was beautiful, and we sat and watched the waves crashing against the rocks.

After Mooloolaba we drove to Caloundra, which is another awesome coastal town. We didn't have long there so we just went for a walk along the boardwalk. It was great watching all the holiday makers enjoying their day, although I felt quite envious that we had to head home while they stayed on and made the most of the good weather. We wished we had more time at both Mooloolaba and Caloundra, and decided we will just have to go for another holiday up in the sunshine coast soon :)
