Rear Admiral

I was discussing with Red recently about my (and his) tendency to label all butterflies like these "Red Admirals."

So maybe this is one, maybe not - but I'm glad he stayed still long enough for me to point my lens at him (or her.)

Nice sunny day today - this afternoon a wee girl on her bike careered off the pavement into my car so we responded with savlon and baby wipes which seemed to help.

Lost my wallet too and did the usual thing of canceling all my cards only to discover it had been found in the last shop I was in - oh well, it'll stop me spending for a bit!
(Always delighted that in the face of reports that the entire human race is going down the tubes there are always kind people who will pick up a wallet and keep it safe.)
