Spider and prey not for the squeamish

Not my favorite subject, in fact i really hate spiders. Karen alerted me to this one, and its only as big as your smallest fingernail. So out came the macro lens. The trussed up prey is an unfortunate ladybird. Fascinating watching how the spider spun it up in a tomb of silk. Then the spider retreated off to the side to wait for another hapless victim to stumble in.
