Virginia Creeper

This is one of the only two photos I've taken the whole day. They were very quickly snapped when I was waiting for the bus home after my interview this afternoon.

After spending the first half of the day at the morning session of today's meeting, I went home and had a very quick bite to eat before heading back out again to the town centre for my interview. The temporary employment agency that was handling the interviews didn't rate my chances very high for this particular job because of a possible early start at 6am on some days. There isn't any public transport yet at that time of the day and they thought it was too far to ride my bicycle there. However, they did offer me an employment for tomorrow from 6am to 1pm which is closer and can be reached by bicycle.

When I got home after the interview I wanted to know exactly which route to take and how much time I would need to get to this job so I rode my bicycle there and back. I'm glad I did this as I now know that there are a couple of streets with cobble-stones that I'd rather avoid in favour of others with a smooth road surface.

I apologise for not commenting on other journals tonight but I'm a very slow starter in the morning and will have to let the alarm go off at 4:30am in ordere to have enough time to get ready before I have to leave the house at 5:20am. This also means that I need to head for bed much earlier than I usually do. I hope to do some catching up at some point tomorrow. That's if I don't fall asleep in front of the computer constantly.
