Boats going nowhere

Had a fab day with Maggie today.....this is Coniston Water where Sir Donal Campbell Beat the speed record on water. The day was glorious ( not expected, forecast was dull) We had lunch at the little cafe by the water, then went for a walk into Coniston village..( in order to walk off the desert of a large piece of coffee and walnut sponge and a lemon meringue pie with cream) Maggie and John live about 6 miles away from here at Blawith ( pronounced Blarth ) In a beautiful house with a stunning view all around, I left Maggie's at 5pm and was back in my house by 6.45......what a lovely day.....arn't friends great.
